Reliance Infrastructure has consistently focused of meeting its financial responsibilities and maintaining
transparency in its operations. Over the years, it has worked to balance business challenges while
continuing to meet its commitments to lenders, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
Repayments to Banks and Financial Institutions
The company has repaid a total of Rs 84,000 crore to banks and financial institutions since FY 2006
to FY 2026. This includes Rs 53,400 crore towards principal and Rs 30,500 crore towards interest.
These repayments show the company’s ongoing effort to service its debt and meet its obligations in a structured
manner. Even during difficult periods, Reliance Infrastructure has continued to prioritise repayments and maintain
engagement with lenders.
Payments to Central and State Government Authorities, and Statutory Dues
Reliance Infrastructure has paid Rs 25,200 crore to Central and State Government authorities. This includes
taxes, licence fees, and other statutory dues.
These payments reflect the company’s compliance with regulatory requirements and its contribution to public revenues.
By meeting these obligations regularly, the company supports government spending on infrastructure and public
services.
Monetisation of Assets
The company has raised Rs 23,476 crore by monetising certain assets in a planned and disciplined way.
The entire amount generated from these transactions has been used to repay lenders. This approach has helped reduce debt
and improve the company’s financial position, while ensuring that the process remains transparent and aligned with its
commitments.
